The majority of people I know that are having babies are doing so late into their thirties. It’s an obvious trend, in my opinion. Work-life balance, for the most part, doesn’t make it easy for any parent. In addition, life in general has simply gotten more expensive. And lastly, maybe more people are actually sitting down to truly think about whether bearing children is right for them. Who does this concern most? Those in control and in favor a capitalist economy, of course. That’s why when I came across this article, I just had to read it. Extending a person’s fertile life? What for? Creating stem cells from different ones? Excuse me? Is this ethical? Where should the line be drawn? Let’s read the article and discuss.
